Each of these sites will have a different "look and feel", and will obviously carry very different sorts of stories, as noted above. Each site will offer samples, possibly some art, a free story or two, and then will contain a link to the store, where customers can make their selections. The software that will run the store is identical to the software currently on the store site which we run jointly with CF Publications. If you visit that site, you will notice that one can select different categories, e.g., "Stories of Spanked Women," "Women Spanking Men," etc. In the new store, each category will be one of the feeder sites - Spanking Ranch, Spanking Castle, etc. So even if the customer is brought into the store through, for example, The Spanking Ranch, they will have the opportunity to see and buy stories from any and all of the other sites/categories.

The new store will function in precisely the same way as the store running on CF Publications. Once the customer's credit card is approved, they will receive their stories via an "auto download" option.

Furthermore, we are not limited to the sites above; an unlimited number of sites could potentially "feed" the store. We will be happy to work with any writer who has a great deal of exclusive, original material (say 20 or more stories) to set up his or her "own" site. Currently, one author, Don Winslow, has put his own site in the consortium. We will also be selling material from author Vicki Blue through the consortium. Her site is Vicki Blue's Domestic Discipline. Anyone who might be interested in his own site should talk to me more in depth for the details.

In addition, I have begun to retire some material from Bethany's Woodshed. There are currently over 400 stories and chapters in the members' area, and this is just a bit too much of a good deal for brand new members. These completed novels are being sold from my Best of Bethany's section.

Now, how will this work for you, the writer? Essentially, you will provide us with the stories, and we do EVERYTHING else necessary to sell on the Internet. We will be designing and updating the sites, submitting them to search engines, top lists, and webrings, arranging for hosting, and handling the merchant accounts and all customer service.

Then, we will share the revenue. We will deduct 10% from the sale price to cover the cost of credit card processing (this is money we never even see) and then split the remainder 50/50. Although at first your "earnings" will be less than if you sold the story outright, remember that these sites will continue to run for years - and your stories will continue to sell for years. One $6.00 story will earn the writer $2.70 each time it sells. Granted, that may not sound like much. But if it sells twice a month for five years - you earn $324.00. A $15.00 novella earns the writer $810.00 over the same five years, again if it sells just twice a month.

So if you're interested, what next? First, be aware that (like anything in life) there are some "rules." The most basic rule is that we reserve the right to refuse to carry any stories we deem unacceptable for any reason, whether for length issues, quality, or content.

Our "concrete" limitations are as follows:
*Stories must be at least 3000 words long. (For novel and novella length books, we'll work with you on length and chapter issues individually.)
* No contemporary story sold through the consortium can have explicit, overt sexual contact (anal or vaginal intercourse, overt fondling of genitals or breasts, or oral sex) with anyone under 18. In historical or fantasy works, there is no "exact" age restriction; but the person must be portrayed as sexually mature and clearly above the age of consent for his/her time and place. We will feature no non-consensual sex with any one that even might be under the age of consent. However, we do intend to offer "age-play" and school boy/girl stories, so spankees, even in contemporary stories, do not have to be over 18.
*We will work with you on pricing. However, while we want to set reasonable prices, we also don't want to be so high that people don't buy. We recommend the following: - 3000 word stories for $4.00, 4000 word for $5.00, 5000 word for $6.00, etc. Again, for novel and novella length material, we'll work with you on an individual basis. Enema and anal stories sell very well - that material can be priced a bit higher.
*We want any author who works with us to have at least five stories (or one novel) to begin. Our processing costs, etc., to process paperwork for a writer who is just selling one story are too high.
* Of course, you must actually have WRITTEN the material you put here and must own the rights to it. We don't care if you've posted it elsewhere for free (though if you've been paid for it, for example, from CF Publications, we will be unable to use it) but if you have posted it elsewhere (for example on a newsgroup) we do require that you use the same title and author name you used before so people that may already have it won't buy it again.
*You continue to own/control the material. At any point, if you wish to withdraw a story for any reason, this is your option. However, we don't want you selling stories listed here to anyone else - if you get a new market for the story, we'll want to pull it.
